Russian carrier Aeroflot has revealed a new multimedia inflight entertainment programme.

From January, at least 60 Russian and international film premiers and 40 new movies releases with an IMDb rating of 6 and up will be added to the airline’s IFE monthly.

The IFE system will subsequently deliver 220 movies and 200 episodes of TV series and shows, and will soon feature newms (short educational videos), podcasts, and video interviews with celebrities.

“This serves as a guarantee of high quality, premium level and relevance of content. Aeroflot passengers will be among the first to see the best and most anticipated new films,” said Aeroflot in a statement.
