Cathay Pacific hints at ‘Aria’ business class suite

Hong Kong-based Cathay Pacific has announced its business class seats which it plans to fit in to its refitted B777-300er cabins from Q2 of 2024.

Announced on a webpage which it linked through to on its social media channels, the airline has kept details about the new suites light. However, we know that the business class seats will be known as ‘Aria’ and will feature things that you might expect, such as a table with wireless charging and stowage compartments, as well as things that you might not, such as a sliding ‘roof’ over the cabin. A short video clip shows that the seat itself is trimmed in a type of fabric, as opposed to leather or synthetic material.

There’s no suggestion of who the supplier might be in the clip, but Cathay Pacific’s current Business Class furniture on the B777-series was sourced from Safran.
