Aircraft interior refinishing firm JETMS Completions (part of Avia Solutions Group) has been selected to refurbish the existing interiors on UK start-up Global Airlines’ A380s.

Work has been planned to commence on the first aircraft in January 2024.

JETMS is best known for providing interior and exterior refurbishment for a range of small private aircraft. The project with Global will be the first on an A380. JETMS recently acquired Waypoint Aerotec, giving the firm additional approvals and production equipment.

Global has stated that its ultimate aim is to ‘completely overhaul’ the interiors of its fleet of four super jumbos. In the meantime, passengers will be able to enjoy a refurbished version of the interior already fitted.

CEO and Founder James Asquith said: ““I have no doubt at all that the combination of JETMS working with Factorydesign will bring to life our own onboard product on all of our A380’s, and I’m looking forward to sharing images and videos of the transformation with passengers to demonstrate the progress we are making as we build towards bringing our first aircraft into service”.
