The first Cebu Pacific A330neo with Recaro Aircraft Seating’s SL3710s installed has begun flights.
In total, 16 A330neos will be delivered to the Philippines-based airline by the end of 2025, with 459 of the SL3710 seats installed on each aircraft.
Recaro said the SL3710s provide “more freedom of movement and thus more comfort” through their slim design. The seat is equipped with a USB charging outlet enabling passengers to use personal electronic devices onboard.
“We are pleased to see our new SL3710 finally taking off on Cebu Pacific’s new A330neo aircraft,” said Recaro Aircraft Seating’s CEO Dr Mark Hiller. “The ergonomically-designed seat not only enhances comfort but the lightweight structure also supports Cebu Pacific’s sustainability goals.”
Cebu Pacific Air’s deputy chief finance officer Mark Cezar commented: “We are delighted to extend our partnership with Recaro to our new A330neo and have it subsequently rolled out on our new A320neo and A321neo aircraft.
“These Recaro seats enable us to ensure an overall positive inflight experience for our guests, while contributing to our position as the greenest airline in Asia.”
