Aircraft seating provider Recaro Group has announced a number of personnel and structural changes as it sets the course for “the next phase of the company’s development”.
From 1 January next year, Recaro Aircraft Seating’s CEO Dr Mark Hiller will also become CEO of Recaro Holding GmbH, the group’s strategic management company, succeeding Recaro shareholder Martin Putsch.
Putsch will move to the advisory board of the Recaro Group, where he will take over as chair.
“Now that we are at the beginning of a new growth phase for the Recaro Group, this is precisely the right time to look ahead and set the course so that our Group can continue to be managed as a family company over the long term,” said Putsch.
“Over the years, our relationship with Mark Hiller and his family has developed into a close partnership based on mutual trust with the same goals and values. I am very much looking forward to my future roles as shareholder and chair of the advisory board, which will allow me to support our company with the same passion as before.”
Elsewhere, Peter Müller will assume the role of chief financial officer at Recaro Holding, while Hartmut Schürg will remain responsible for brand and design in the future three-member management team.
Recaro’s advisory board will also expand to seven members and consist of “top-flight national and international experts from industry, aviation, and science”, the group said.
The Recaro Group comprises the independently operating divisions Recaro Aircraft Seating in Schwäbisch Hall and Recaro Gaming in Stuttgart, as well as the Recaro Holding, located in Stuttgart.
