Uniform redesign at Avianca

Avianca has announced a comprehensive redesign of its uniforms.

The new garments, tailored by local fashion designer Juanjo Oliva, will be introduced in December and worn by more than 10,000 employees across operations, customer service and cargo. The update marks a new chapter for the airline, which last refreshed its uniforms in 2018.

“Each uniform represents far more than a garment: it symbolizes the history and commitment of those who welcome our passengers, accompany them on their journey, and make it possible for Avianca to continue connecting Latin America with the world. This update is a recognition of the professionalism and passion of our employees, true ambassadors of the company and key players in our transformation,” said Frederico Pedreira, CEO of Avianca.

All uniforms feature a blue-and-red ribbon inspired by Avianca’s 2023 brand refresh and different pieces include airport vests, overskirts for cabin crew, belts, sashes, and scarves, designed for greater comfort and adaptability to varying climates.
