DoKaSch opens new Opticooler station at Shanghai Pudong
Temperature-controlled packaging solutions provider DoKaSch Temperature Solutions has launched a new Opticooler® station at Shanghai Pudong International Airport.
The company says the new station was needed to meet the increasing demand for safe and efficient transportation of temperature-controlled pharmaceutical products to and from China.
The new station in Shanghai has been launched with an initial capacity to meet current demands, with DoKaSch Temperature Solutions claiming it is prepared to scale up operations at this location to support the increasing requirements of the Chinese pharmaceutical market.
Emily Tang, sales and business development manager for China at DoKaSch Temperature Solutions, said: “China’s rapid growth in the pharmaceutical sector reflects the country’s increasing demand for reliable logistics solutions. Our presence in Shanghai allows us to better serve local customers and meet their specific needs.”

With a cargo volume of over 3.4 million tonnes in 2023 – an increase of over 10% compared to 2022 – Shanghai Pudong International Airport ranks third among the world’s largest cargo airports, according to an analysis by the Airport Council International (ACI).
