LATAM Airlines Group has signed a contract with IT solutions provider CHAMP for its ‘TRAXON cargoHUB’ community to provide all the carriers’ cargo message exchanges between freight forwarders and ground handlers.

CHAMP said LATAM carriers will benefit from digital access to thousands of stakeholders throughout the supply chain and enable “collaboration with community players via a single system regardless of data format or protocol”.

LATAM Cargo’s SVP of marketing and development Jorge Gálvez said the collaboration will provide its carriers with “more visibility of the status of freight and more agile operation processes, enabling them to offer clients a better experience”.

LATAM has also signed for TRAXON ‘Premium Tracking’, which the IT solutions provider said will provide LATAM customers with real-time shipment updates, as well as the ability to manage triggers, timings, conversions, and provide automatic updates for visibility and tracking of shipment journeys through a single-data sharing point for all parties involved.
