Delta Cargo has approved Envirotainer’s ‘Releye RAP’ container for use on its fleet.
The company said its intention was to expand its offer of pharmaceutical transportation solutions.
With the approval, Delta Cargo can now transport the Releye RAP throughout its global pharma network, increasing capacity “to meet the growing need for temperature-controlled, connected ULD solutions”, it said.
The RAP is the largest of the new generation Releye containers, and is designed to meet the strictest requirements in pharmaceutical air freight.
The container’s integrated live monitoring enables insights into a shipment’s condition and location while its increased efficiency reduces each shipment’s CO2 footprint, Delta Cargo said.
