Menzies Aviation has won new ground services contracts in Mexico, with American Airlines, Aeroflot, Air Canada, Delta Air Lines, Flair Airlines, Frontier Airlines and TAG Airlines.
Two new contracts with American Airlines are for the delivery of passenger, ramp and cabin cleaning services at Chetumal International Airport, and for ramp and cabin cleaning services at Playa de Oro International Airport in Manzanillo. Menzies already services American Airlines at 16 airports across Mexico.
In another contract, Menzies will provide Aeroflot with passenger, ramp and cabin cleaning services at Cancun International Airport. The Russian carrier recently launched operations at the airport.
Menzies has also secured contracts with Air Canada to provide ramp and cabin cleaning services at Bahías de Huatulco International and Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo International airports.
Delta Air Lines has awarded Menzies ramp and cabin cleaning services contracts at two stations in Mexico, which will see Menzies servicing 355 flights a year from Guadalajara International and 575 flights a year at Monterrey International.
Menzies has also been selected to support Flair Airlines’ start up across Mexico where the Canadian ultra-low-cost carrier is establishing new routes. Menzies will provide ground handling services at Los Cabos International and Cancun International airports from February.
US-based ultra-low-cost carrier Frontier Airlines has awarded Menzies a contract for the provision of ground handling services at Cancun.
Finally, TAG Airlines has awarded Menzies a ground handling services contract at five different locations in Mexico, including Cancun, Mérida International, Oaxaca-Xoxocotlan, Tuxtla Gutierrez International and Guadalajara International airports. The contract brings an additional 1,667 turns to Menzies’ business in Mexico.
