Turkish Cargo joins digital booking marketplace

Turkish Cargo has joined the marketplace for digital air cargo bookings.

That means the capacities of Turkish national carrier’s cargo division will be added to the platform for freight forwarders.

With 40 bookable airlines on board, said it had now secured close to 50 per cent of global air cargo capacity for instant booking on its platform.

Within weeks, customers worldwide will be able to book capacities across Turkish Cargo’s network of more than 340 destinations, and 100 of direct cargo – including important centres of commerce in North America, South America, Europe, and Asia. Turkish Cargo said it planned to increase this from 100 to 120 by 2025.

“Turkish Cargo’s partnership with will be expanding our digital footprint and improve sales capabilities,” said Turkish Cargo’s senior vice president of cargo business development and organisation Adnan Karaismailoğlu.
