Pacific Air Cargo launches new freight tracking service

Pacific Air Cargo (PAC) has introduced a new freight tracking and partner notification service.

Fully integrated into the company’s website, the ‘PACTRAK’ service allows PAC’s partners to know the exact status of their shipment at any point in its journey and choose the level and mode of notification they want to receive, the company said.

PAC’s CEO Tanja Janfruechte commented: “We believe that PACTRAK will make shipping with Pacific Air Cargo even more convenient, and we look forward to introducing other enhancements and useful tools in the future.”

The system allows multiple users within an organisation to choose their mode of notifications and operates on mobile devices for warehouse personnel and delivery truck drivers.

The PACTRAK dashboard features detailed histories of current and recent shipments.

For those who are not PAC account holders, a ‘Quick Tracking’ option allows them to enter their air waybill number directly into a tracking window to check the status of their shipment.
