flypop has brought its second cargo aircraft into service.
The low-cost British international airline recently flew an Airbus A330 into London Stanstead Airport, where the team celebrated the airline’s growing fleet.
“It’s fantastic to see our second flypop aircraft in the skies and especially here at our UK base at London Stansted Airport,” said flypop’s CEO and principal Navdip Singh Judge.
“flypop is now a revenue generating airline and we look forward to continuing to grow our fleet of aircraft throughout 2022 for both cargo and passenger operations. We expect to see a surge in demand for low-cost flights to India from the UK from Q2 onwards.”
flypop has been partnering with Hi Fly for Zero LOPA cargo operations to meet the growing demand for cargo flights.
Over the next few months, flypop said it will bring two more of its fleet of aircraft into service for cargo duties and plans to launch passenger flights in the summer to India.
The airline is considering serving Amristar, Hyderabad, Goa, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Kochi and Chandigarch.
