Font named new exec vice president of Air Menzies International

Leading service partner to the world’s airports and airlines, Menzies Aviation, has appointed Carlos Font as the new executive vice president of Air Menzies International (AMI).

Font will join AMI December 01, 2023, replacing Jonathan Clark who has decided to take on a new role.

Font has more than 20 years’ experience in digital innovation and freight forwarding, and will be responsible for driving the company’s ambitious growth plans, including developing AMI’s innovation and digital capabilities.

Font joins Menzies Aviation from Shipa Freight and iContainers, a digital freight forwarder, where he has been chief executive since 2019.

Prior to Shipa, Font held numerous roles in the supply chain industry including with DSV – Global Transport and Logistics and UTi Worldwide.

During his career, Font has overseen large-scale digital transformation programmes, international supply chain and transportation networks, as well utilising data, and digital tools to optimise decision making and operational efficiency.
