Flight Centre-owned flights distribution technology specialist TPConnects has extended access to its latest selling platform to third-party agents in its FCTG Independent group.

The New Distribution Capability (NDC) solution opens access to a wider variety of suppliers and fares as well as a modern booking engine, aggregated travel content and other services.

TPConnects said the system supplies content to retailers from a range of sources including traditional GDS, NDC generated, or from low cost carriers.

It has been made available for FCTG Independent agents in Australia, ahead of rollouts planned for New Zealand, the US, Canada, and South Africa.

The firm said the solution “won’t just broaden customer options but also lead to greater client satisfaction and loyalty, and with its streamlined booking processes, save agents time and money”.

Broadening the range of airlines and suppliers is expected to provide with more revenue streams and the ability to tap into new markets and customer segments.
