France-based Expliseat has used the first morning of the Hamburg exhibition to show off its new product for regional flights.

The TiSeat 2X is a lightweight all-carbon and titanium structure, with recycled components and minimal plastic, the maker says it is 30% lighter than a traditional seat. Each seat is trimmed with leather and filled with ergonomic foam for added comfort.

Air France has been confirmed as the launch customer for the product in its Embraer regional fleet.

Once seated, whether working or resting, passengers benefit from the ergonomics of the armrest, footrest, and ‘invisible’ headrest mechanism. All are integrated into a one-piece shell. The appearance of the front side of the seat, the comfort of the cushioning, and the premium headrest features match the overall design of the seat.
