EasyJet flights for Easter 2021 are now available to book after the UK low-cost airline brought the on-sale date forward by five months.
The early release of these flights covers the two-week Easter period including the school holidays between 28 March and 18 April 2021.
More than 39,000 flights are set to take place across EasyJet’s network between 28 March 2021 and 18 April and the airline is providing over 6.7 million seats for passengers during this period.
EasyJet has also confirmed its plans to put the remainder of Summer 2021 flying on sale early.
Customers looking for future holidays can book all the way up to October 2021 through easyJet holidays following the early season launches for winter 20/21 and summer 2021 earlier this month.
EasyJet chief commercial and planning officer, Robert Carey, said:
“We know many people’s Easter holiday plans have been disrupted this year and so we’ve taken the decision to put our Easter flights for 2021 on sale early so our customers can either book a new break or, if they are rearranging their travel plans, have even more dates and destinations to choose from.
“By booking early customers will not only get the best value on hundreds of destinations across our network but can also book hold bags for just 99p giving them something to look forward to next year.
“And we are really pleased to have added to our domestic flight network so that the regions in the UK will have a connectivity boost following the pandemic.”
In a statement released last month, the airline said that there was as yet no certainty as to to the resumption of commercial flights.
“At this stage, there can be no certainty of the date for restarting commercial flights,” a spokesperson said.
“We will evaluate continuously based on changing regulations and customer demand and will update the market in due course.
“Our strategy, network and data science teams are working through different demand scenarios for re-starting flying, which could be done with as little as two weeks’ notice.”
