Maintenance firm Magnetic Creative has  obtained an EASA-approved STC (Supplemental Type Certificate) for integrating USB systems into Embraer aircraft for SAS airlines.

The recently-finalized STC project involved the reconfiguration of the passenger cabin of Embraer ERJ 190 series aircraft to a single class 122 PAX all economy cabin.

In seat power supply system components were installed which also included manufacturing parts by Magnetic Creative’s production department and delivering part-kits for the final assembly.

Magnetic Creative is part of the Magnetic Group, which started off as the maintenance department of Estonian Air, before being bought out by private equity in 2010. The current brand was established in 2021.
