Canada-based WestJet Group has appointed Michael (Mike) Scott to the role of WestJet Group Executive Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer.

Scott has a long-established career in the aviation industry, most recently with StandardAero, which included more than 13 years as Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer. There he led a period of growth with revenue increases of more than 300 per cent. Prior to this he held a variety of other senior level roles across the organisation.
