Ryanair adds eight ‘rescue flights’ for pax affected by Heathrow closure
Ryanair has added ‘up to eight rescue flights’ between Dublin and London Stansted to move passengers affected by the closure of Heathrow airport today (March 21).
There are four extra flights planned this afternoon and a further four on Saturday morning. These flights can be booked on Ryanair.com now.

The blaze at a single, unguarded substation outside of the airport’s perimeter has closed the UK’s primary aviation hub until at least midnight while the problem is resolved. It has caused chaos with airlines diverting passengers as far afield as Paris CDG.
The Flightradar24 website currently shows aircraft movement all over Europe, apart from in West London, where Heathrow airport is based.
