On Wednesday (September 25) T’way Air held a signing ceremony for the A330-900NEO lease at the T’way Air Training Center located in Gimpo Airport in the presence of T’way Air CEO Chung Hong-geun, Avolon President and CCO, Paul Geaney, and other key officials.

It is also equipped with the latest Rolls-Royce Trent 7000 engine and is considered to be a better fit for sustainable aviation fuel (SAF). In addition, the latest aerodynamic design allows for more efficient long-distance flights.
Paul Guinea, President and Head of Sales at Avolon, said, “We are delighted to welcome T’way Air as a new customer of the A330-900NEO as we are rapidly expanding our routes, and we look forward to supporting T’way Air to meet the growing travel demand.”
Chung Hong-geun, CEO of T’way Air, said, “We expect to provide better service and reliability to our customers through the introduction of the A330-900NEO, which is the first Korean airline to enhance fuel efficiency and sustainability.”
