AerFin has appointed Máximo Gainza as head of commercial strategy and James Bennett (pictured above) as commercial director.

Gainza’s aviation career spans more than a decade. He joins from Embraer, where he spent the last five years and most recently served as vice-president global leasing & strategy.

He will report directly into Bennett, who over the last five years at AerFin undertook the roles of director sales and marketing and prior to that had responsibility for the engine division.

The new team will be responsible for driving all commercial initiatives globally. This includes expanding the company’s product and service offerings, growing contractual revenue streams and broadening AerFin’s customer base with a focus on lowering the cost of maintenance through ‘EJet Beyond Pool’ programme development to meet the demand of regional jet airlines.
