Chrono Aviation goes live with Rusada maintenance solution

Canadian charter airline Chrono Aviation has successfully deployed Rusada’s maintenance solution, ENVISION.

Chrono Aviation, which operates a fleet of 14 aircraft, will use the aviation software provider’s fleet management module for continued airworthiness and maintenance planning, base, line and component maintenance modules for MRO execution, and inventory management for its warehouses.

The airline will also use ENVISION’s human resources, quality and service, and finance and accounting modules.

“We have experienced significant levels of growth over the last five years and as such needed to upgrade our maintenance information system to manage our largest fleet and increased MRO activities,” said the project sponsor, WAAS Aerospace’s PRM/DOM Dominic Cayouette.

“We were looking for an advanced and modern solution that was cost-effective at the same time. In ENVISION we found one software that could do it all and be the foundation for our continued growth.”

Chrono Aviation performs the majority of its maintenance in-house through subsidiary WAAS Aerospace. Rusada worked closely with Chrono and WAAS throughout the deployment project of the ENVISION modules.

Rusada’s CEO Julian Stourton added: “Chrono Aviation is the latest in a long line of exciting companies to select ENVISION as their software of choice. Both the teams here at Rusada, and at Chrono and WAAS, have done an exceptional job in getting the system live despite the challenges presented by the pandemic.”

The deal will see the Chrono Aviation become Rusada’s first customer in Canada.
