GKN Aerospace company Fokker Services has redelivered its first Alliance Airlines Fokker 70 aircraft as part of a five-year heavy maintenance checks agreement, which runs until 2025.
The Fokker Services Asia facility now provides base checks for the Australian operator’s fleet of Fokker 70 and Fokker 100 aircraft.
“Over the past 18 years, our collaboration with Alliance Airlines has evolved and expanded. As the Fokker Type Certificate holder, we are uniquely positioned to serve these aircraft with our expert skills and capabilities,” said Fokker Services Asia managing director Franck Scherer.
“This, in combination with our tailored and reliable services, ensures that Alliance Airlines’ fleet remain in top condition. With the first aircraft base check redelivery performed on time and to the full satisfaction of Alliance, we are proud to build on this long-standing partnership as we continue to support Fokker operators worldwide.”
Alliance Airlines CEO Lee Schofield commented: “Alliance is very pleased with the expansion in our relationship with Fokker Services. With 43 Fokker aircraft in service and long-term plans for the continued operation of the F70/F100, flexibility in our heavy maintenance programme is key and having the support of the type certificate holder is essential. We were very pleased with the outcome of the recent base check.”
