GA Telesis has named Fred Sontag as vice president sales, Americas for its Flight Solutions Group.

Sontag will oversee all sales responsibilities, including USM material, tooling/GSE, OEM parts distribution, and logistics services in the Americas region.

He joined GA Telesis in December 2020 and has spent 25 years in the OEM and aftermarket space in various sales, support and business development roles.

In addition to his sales duties, Sontag will also retain his responsibilities as vice president of the Distribution Solutions Group for the near future.

Sontag said his goal was to understand customer needs and find “the unique solutions they desire during this difficult time in aviation”.

He added: “The synergy between my two roles in the Flight Solutions Group, coupled with the portfolio of services we provide to our global airline and MRO base, will lead my team and me to find even the most unique solutions for each customer in the region.”
