China Airlines has extended a long-standing agreement with HAECO ITM for inventory technical management support on its 777 fleet.
The new agreement will run until 2029 and includes the addition of six 777F aircraft. The first two were delivered to China Airlines in December 2020 and all aircraft will be entering into service by 2023.
HAECO ITM, the joint venture between HAECO and Cathay Pacific Airways, has been providing inventory technical management support to China Airlines since 2014.
The contract extension covers component MRO, repair management, component pooling, component engineering, consumable and expendable parts support services, AOG support as well as onsite consignment stock in Taipei to all 16 777s in China Airlines’ fleet.
“We are delighted to continue our partnership with China Airlines,” said HAECO ITM’s executive general manager William Arblaster. “The extension, in these challenging times, is a testament to our strong operational relationship.”
