ATS (Aviation Technical Services) has appointed Wencor as sole distributor of its Part Manufacturer Approval (PMA) product line, approved by the FAA under ATSMRO part number references.

The agreement extends until December 2025. It includes the ATS-patented ‘EverLatch’ cargo door latch solution which is designed to enhance the reliability of 737NG aircraft.

ATS said its PMAs replace “high cost, long lead time and high failure” parts and are engineered utilising data from airframe maintenance and component repair workscopes.

“Our PMA programme started through collaboration with one of our heavy maintenance customers and has been successful in identifying millions of dollars in savings for 737 operators,” said ATS’ president of component and engineering solutions Brian Olsen. “We are looking forward to increasing the programme’s exposure to airlines and MROs through Wencor’s established channels.”
