Lithuania-headquartered GetJet Airlines has awarded Joramco a maintenance contract.
GetJet offers charter services on behalf of numerous international airlines, including LOT Polish Airlines, Wizz Air, Finnair, Air Malta, Tunisair and others.
The partnership between GetJet and Joramco – the engineering arm of Dubai Aerospace Enterprise – began in June of this year when the MRO provider performed maintenance work on one of GetJet’s A320s.
Joramco then completed a comprehensive C check on one of GetJet’s A330s in July.
Joramco’s chief executive officer Jeff Wilkinson said the agreement was “a testament to the superlative level of work being done on the ground at Joramco’s facilities”.
He added: “Thanks to our hard-earned reputation as a leader in the MRO field, we are well on our way to fulfilling our vision of expanding our portfolio of international clients. We look forward to nurturing a fruitful, long-term partnership with GetJet Airlines, and with other partners like them.”
GetJet Airlines’ CEO Darius Viltrakis commented: “Partnership with Joramco opens new possibilities. A trustful MRO partner enables us to plan business processes, including an aircraft check, more accurately. It is essential, especially in these post-pandemic times with recovering aviation. Therefore, we are looking forward to having another fruitful collaboration with Joramco.”
