ASL Aviation Holdings and AMETEK MRO AEM have finalised a new agreement for the provision of landing gear services for ASL’s European fleet of 737 Next Generation and Classic aircraft.

The agreement covers the provision of overhaul services and loan gear sets until the end of 2026.

It also builds on ASL’s existing relationship with AEM, with the company having been an ASL trusted supplier for many years.

“This agreement epitomises the desire for ASL to create strategic partnerships with suppliers of the calibre of AEM,” said ASL Aviation Holdings’ head of procurement James George.

“It allows us to consolidate the overhaul activity for landing gears across our European 737 fleet and benefit from cementing a relationship with a trusted supplier in whom we have great confidence will deliver an excellent service for us.”

AEM’s divisional vice president and managing director Andy Wheeler commented: “Investment in streamlining our processes, alongside our focus on skills development, means that AEM can ensure sustained repair and overhaul services as the industry’s demand for landing gear services increases and ASL grows its operations.”
