MRO provider Bird Aviation is moving forward with its next phase of expansion at Larnaca Airport in Cyprus with the construction of a third hangar.

The project will introduce a fourth bay dedicated to narrow-body aircraft and will be located next to the company’s existing premises.

Scheduled for completion by November 2025, the new facility will build on the company’s ongoing growth strategy and rising demand from long-standing and new airline partners.

Once completed, Bird Aviation says the additional bay will further strengthen its operational capacity and flexibility, allowing it to accommodate more aircraft simultaneously.

Frederic Pralus, chief executive of Bird Aviation, said: “This project reflects both the confidence of our clients and the momentum we have built as a team. Adding a fourth bay will allow us to continue delivering timely, high-quality service while also planning ahead for the next stages of our development.”

The new hangar follows the recent completion of the company’s second facility, underlining Bird Aviation’s steady growth as a provider of MRO services in the EMEA region.
