C&L Aviation Group has purchased ACLAS Technics, a UK-based company that offers structural component repair and overhaul for multiple aircraft types. These include the 737, 747, 757, 777, A320, A330 and ATR 42.
C&L said the acquisition was a continuation of growth plans with the aim of expanding its product and service offerings globally.
“This is another step in the strategy to provide support for multiple aircraft types and we are very excited by the acquisition of ACLAS,” said C&L Aviation Group’s CEO Chris Kilgour. “ACLAS has a great reputation globally and is known for their quality and dependability.”
Charles Henery, the founder of ACLAS Technics, will remain managing director at the company. “Since conception, ACLAS Technics has established itself as a market leader in supporting its broad customer base which includes the industry’s largest airlines, aftermarket, MRO, and OEMs,” he said.
