FL Technics has received approval under its Part-145 certification to provide line maintenance services for Boeing 787 aircraft and for borescope inspections of Pratt & Whitney PW1100G-JM series engines.

The Avia Solutions Group company said the capability to service 787 Dreamliners opened “new opportunities within the global market for widebody aircraft in perfect synergy with our global, largest independent line maintenance network”.

FL Technics also noted that the certified services of borescope inspections would be performed on “one of the most popular engines currently in the market” which is typically mounted on the Airbus A320 aircraft family.
