Hertz appointed new chief commercial officer at TP Aerospace

Aftermarket supplier of aircraft wheels and brakes, TP Aerospace, has appointed Nicolai Hertz as its new chief commercial officer.

Hertz will be responsible for driving the overall commercial areas of TP Aerospace.

Effective October 2, 2023, he will work alongside the chief executive and the rest of the executive management team to continue to deliver on the strategic plan of the company.

Hertz brings almost 30 years of experience in the aviation industry from Satair, SAS Component Group and ST Aerospace.

He was most recently at Satair for 15 years, and his latest role there was as head of used serviceable material and senior vice president business development and strategy.

TP Aerospace says that with Hertz stepping into his new role, co-founder Thomas Ibsø will step down as president of by the end of the year. This is part of the planned succession of the company.

Nikolaj Jacobsen, chief executive of TP Aerospace said: “Nicolai brings extensive commercial experience and knowledge from the MRO aftermarket and will play a pivotal role in delivering our strategy.”
