JCB Aero, an AMAC Aerospace company, has announced it is now operating MRO activities from its refurbished hangar in Auch, France, which it claims will allow the company to further expand its services and capabilities to existing and potential new customers.
The 5,000 sqm hangar can accommodate up to three single-aisle aircraft simultaneously and has already welcomed its first aircraft in early October 2024.
Preparation of the hangar started in May 2024 and JCB Aero says it worked with AMAC Aerospace Switzerland to be ready in time for September 2024.
One of the core business activities of JCB Aero is high-end cabin design, production and refurbishment.
JCB Aero says a new maintenance team has been recruited in Auch with additional recruitment underway to reach a team of between 20 and 30 employees.
