Jet East secures Bermuda BCAA authorisation
Aviation maintenance company Jet East has secured Bermuda BCAA Authorisation, enabling it to maintain Bermuda registered aircraft.
The authorisation allows Jet East to perform the maintenance within the US and in Bermuda.
Bermuda is home to a significant number of registered aircraft, making the authorisation an attractive certificate which includes tax incentives for aircraft registration.
Jet East, a Gama Aviation Company, states that it intends to utilise the authorisation to focus primarily on AOG maintenance, providing technicians the ability to swiftly address critical maintenance requirements for Bermuda registered aircraft, thereby minimising operational disruptions.
Gary Lee, chief operating officer for AOG maintenance at Jet East, said: “Having the BCAA authorisation is an advancement for Jet East. Being able to support a wider range of owners and operators more readily is a priority. This authorisation advances company goals and broadens our ability to touch more customers abroad.”
