Lufthansa Technik makes management changes at European subsidiaries
Lufthansa Technik has announced senior management changes at Lufthansa Technik Turbine Shannon and Lufthansa Technik Malta.
Effective August 1, Pat Foley is now chief executive and managing director of Lufthansa Technik Turbine Shannon, and Maria Cilia took over the position as head of base maintenance and chief executive at Lufthansa Technik Malta on September 01.
Harald Gloy, chief operations officer and chief human resources officer at Lufthansa Technik, said: “I am very pleased that we were able to recruit Pat Foley and Maria Cilia for these key positions as chief executives for the two European subsidiaries of Lufthansa Technik.
“Each of them has been working in the aviation industry for many years and thus is highly experienced in this field. I wish both of them the very best in their new roles.”
Starting in 1992, Foley has held different positions at various Lufthansa Technik locations including as chief operations officer at Lufthansa Technik Budapest, chief executive at Lufthansa Technik Puerto Rico, and senior director business development the Americas.
Maria Cilia has more than 16 years of experience in the aviation industry and has held various management positions at Lufthansa Technik. Her last position was head of planning and engineering at Lufthansa Technik Sofia.
