MRO service provider SR Technics has appointed Owen McClave as its new chief executive with immediate effect, succeeding Matthias Düllmann.
McClave joined SR Technics in 2019 as senior vice president of engine services but was most recently chief operating officer of the company.
His professional experience includes key leadership roles at Pratt and Whitney and Lufthansa Technik in Ireland and Vector Aerospace UK (Airbus Helicopters) where he was managing director.
McClave obtained his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in business from Trinity College, Dublin and earned his FCMA designation in accountancy from The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.

Ruixiang Gong, who was most recently SR Technics’ deputy chief executive, has now taken over McClave’s chief operating officer role.
Gong has served in several leadership positions, including chairman of the board at SR Technics, plus roles at Hainan Airlines and HNA Aviation Group Co., Ltd.
Gong obtained his bachelor’s degree in aeronautics/aviation/aerospace science and technology from Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics.
