MRO Management

VIDEO: Predictive Aircraft Maintenance chair Richard Brown on how the event could move the industry forward on its data journey

With less than a month to go to the Predictive Aircraft Maintenance Conference 2022 (PAM 2022), the event chair Richard Brown – managing director of Naveo Consultancy – spoke to organiser Real Response Media’s Lucy Abbott to explain why the gathering of predictive maintenance experts, solution providers, users and other interested parties in London on 15-16 November will be so important. “It’s a great opportunity to meet and collaborate, to debate the issues, and more importantly, come out with solutions to move the industry forward on our data journey,” he says.

This year’s Predictive Aircraft Maintenance Conference will take place at the Pan Pacific London hotel, and Brown is expecting discussions on how industry stakeholders can best use data without drowning in it, reducing costs and avoiding unnecessary delays caused by unscheduled maintenance events. Predictive maintenance techniques can turn these events into something “predictable, planned and manageable”, he says.

PAM 2022 is an annual event exploring all of the possibilities around predictive aircraft maintenance technologies, demonstrating how the industry can use the massive amount of data generated by new generation aircraft on each flight to enhance operational performance, safety and profitability for airlines and MROs.

Case studies will highlight best practices and how leading companies such as Lufthansa Technik, Airbus, Air France Industries KLM Maintenance & Engineering, GE Aviation, Bollore Logistics, EirTrade Aviation, Cranfield University, Rusada, and more, are successfully collaborating with industry partners.

Panel discussions will explore major topics from the perspective of all stakeholders to enable those attending the event to learn the best practices and current trends affecting them and to overcome the challenges currently faced in the aviation sector such as sustainability, profitability and more.
