Magnetic MRO has signed a CAMO (continuing airworthiness management organisation) service agreement with regional aircraft leasing company TrueNoord.
The deal includes the re-delivery of two Mitsubishi Heavy Industries CRJ900 NextGen (previously Bombardier CRJ900 NextGen series) type aircraft from a previous operator, as well as all engineering services related to maintaining the aircraft in an airworthy and controlled environment.
The general terms of the agreement for CAMO services were signed at the end of September.
Both aircraft have been delivered to Magnetic’s Tallinn headquarters. Implementation into long term storage is in the final stage.
Noting the challenging situation the Covid-19 pandemic has caused, Magnetic MRO’s senior airworthiness engineer Janno Väinola quoted former British Prime Minister Winston Churchill: “’Never waste a good crisis’.”
He said: “We need to adapt to the current situation and come out stronger than ever. Magnetic MRO is always up for challenges as well as supporting new customers, so we are happy to have TrueNoord as our client.
“They have a fast-growing fleet that already includes many aircraft which leased all over the world to well-known operators, and we see this agreement as just the start of our cooperation.”
