Spirit AeroSystems has selected Rusada’s ‘ENVISION’ software to manage its growing MRO activities.
The platform will be used to support Spirit’s maintenance facilities in Wichita and Dallas, where component MRO, on-wing repair and aftermarket engineering services are offered across a range of aircraft.
Spirit has signed up for eight of ENVISION’s modules, as well as the recently released maintenance execution app, ‘ENVISION Tasks’. The software will be deployed by Rusada’s North America Client Services team, who will aim to work closely with various stakeholders at Spirit to ensure a successful rollout.
“The expansion of our MRO Services over the last several years has resulted in us inheriting numerous disconnected software solutions,” explained Spirit AeroSystems’ MRO senior manager Billy Ernst. “We realised pretty quickly that to achieve the necessary levels of efficiency required for success, we would need an intelligent and modern software solution to back it up.
“ENVISION’s wide range of functionality and excellent track record made it the standout choice for our business. We look forward to working with Rusada to get the software up and running in our facilities over the coming months.”
Rusada’s CEO Julian Stourton said: “To be chosen by one of the most respected names in the industry is a great compliment to our software, and to our teams in the US and around the world.
“Spirit are in the midst of a rapid expansion of their MRO offerings, so now is absolutely the right time to upgrade their solution. We will provide them with everything they need to guarantee a smooth implementation, and ongoing success.”
