TAP Express and Air Montenegro have signed new ‘Pool Program’ agreements with aerospace manufacturer Embraer.
TAP Express has renewed its component support deal on the airline’s E-Jet fleet, while Air Montenegro has signed a new deal for component support for its fleet of two E195s.
Embraer’s Pool Program, which currently supports more than 50 airlines worldwide, is designed to allow airlines to minimise their upfront investment on high-value repairable inventories and resources and to take advantage of Embraer’s component service provider network.
Embraer’s head of worldwide customer support and aftermarket sales Danielle Vardaro said: “We are really glad to extend our long-term partnership with TAP for many years to come.
“The renewal with TAP, a company recognised worldwide for its operational excellence, is an endorsement of the support work of Embraer and our service team.”
Embraer has provided the TAP Air Portugal subsidiary with component support via the Pool Program since 1998.
