Ryanair has announced it’s fourth OTA partnership, this time with UK holiday booker On the Beach.

This deal marks an and to the feud between the two companies that ended up in the UK High Court. Ryanair called On the Beach a ‘pirate’ and a ‘screenscraper’ and accused it of using software to build fake customer profiles to circumnavigate the airline’s customer facing booking process.

For it’s part, On the Beach had described Ryanair’s words as ‘disparaging’ and ‘untrue’. However, both companies have put the past behind them and formed a deal where holidaymakers can book a hotel and flights with the benefit of ATOL protection.

The travel agent will now be authorised to offer Ryanair flights, seats, and bags to their customers at Ryanair’s low prices as part of their holiday packages. This deal guarantees that On the Beach customers will pay the current rate for Ryanair flights and services and will have direct access to the airline’s app.

Shaun Morton, CEO of On the Beach Group was enthusiastic in his praise for the deal.:  “We are excited to have entered into this transformational partnership with Ryanair,” he said adding that signing it marks a ‘significant milestone’ for his company.

“Importantly, this agreement enables both parties to move on from outstanding litigation and we look forward to working closely with our new partner,” he concluded

Ryanair’s Dara Brady said: “Ryanair is pleased to announce our latest partnership with leading OTA, On the Beach. This new deal will see Ryanair partner with its fourth approved OTA partner – the second OTA we have partnered with this month”.
