Simaero opens in training centre in Changsha

Flight simulator training provider Simaero has announced the opening of a training centre in Changsha, Hunan Province.

Opening later in March, more than $70 million is being invested in the project. The first full flight simulator, a A320 neo/ceo sim manufactured by China Simulation Sciences will be available as soon as the site has opened and in time, the facility will host six full-flight training simulators as well as briefing and debriefing rooms, classrooms, and a comfortable pilot rest area.

Situated near Changsha Huanghua International Airport, one of China’s largest airports, the training centre, which will operate under the name Hunan Hongyi, will be the first of its type in the province.

“The opening of the Changsha training centre is a major milestone in our development in China, states Nicolas Mouté, CEO of Simaero. “It underscores our dedication to investing in aviation training in the country and, in particular, in the Hunan region. Here again, we collaborate with local partners to foster knowledge exchange.”
