Ural Airlines dates back to the 28th of December 1993, when the former Aviation Enterprise of Sverdlovsk/SVX (now Ekaterinburg), Russia, was officially divided into the airline and the airport; the airline becoming an independent structure. For the time being, Ural Airlines is one of the 10 leading airlines of Russia in terms of the passenger carrier rates and flight safety.
