My favourite city to visit so far…. Palma because of the eateries and the architecture is so beautiful, and it has such a cosmopolitan feel about the city.

The one item that I couldn’t fly without and why… Headache pills as I like to sample the local wines!

The best thing about aviation is… The people in our sector – everyone I have met has been so friendly.

My favourite city to visit so far…. It must be Madrid. A lot of people rave about Barcelona, but for me the Spanish capital is way more interesting and authentically Spanish – I love the tapas bars in Malasaña, one of the coolest places in the city.

The one item that I couldn’t fly without… My prescription sunglasses. I’m very slightly short-sighted and normally don’t bother with glasses, but any excuse to wear my shades and I’ll take it. Dark glasses add an instant touch of glamour and in my case, they help bring the world into sharper focus – I can see so clearly with them on it feels like I have a super-power.

The best thing about aviation is… The way it connects people around the world. Airports always make me feel emotional, so many people leaving and saying goodbye to loved ones, while others are arriving – aviation brings people together.

My favourite city to visit so far…. Lisbon, the food, the people and the great winter sun.

The one item that I couldn’t fly without and why… My hygrometer, to measure the amount of humidity in the cabin!

The best thing about aviation is… It gives you the opportunity to see the world and marvel at the technology that makes planes fly.

My favourite city to visit so far…. New York – I keep going back. For me, there is nothing better than looking down the bustling avenues at night from a floor very high up in the sky!

The one item that I couldn’t fly without and why… Lots of water to keep me hydrated.

The best thing about aviation is… Innovation! Aviation is such a ground-breaking industry that keeps on moving at a fast pace and there is always something new and exciting around the corner.

My favourite city to visit so far…. Cape Town. Stunning scenery, nature, history and dining all-in-one.

The one item that I couldn’t fly without and why… My beauty and skincare kit. There’s nothing like an inflight facial to ensure you land looking refreshed!

The best thing about aviation is… The fact that it’s so varied and diverse. The industry is constantly evolving and changing, which is what makes it so exciting.

My favourite city to visit so far… I am yet to go, but Toulouse has always been in my heart. It’s the French city that is known as La Ville Rose (‘The Pink City’) because of the bricks in the building and rumour has it, the food is better there than in Paris…

The one item that I couldn’t fly without and why… Travel sickness tablets. I love travelling, but sometimes it all gets too much. I like the ones you can take every eight hours because it’s not a big hassle remembering to take them.

The best thing about aviation is… Gaining an insight into one of the most used transports across the globe. There’s something satisfying about getting on an aircraft and knowing what you are flying in and the history behind it. It’s also useful for impressing friends with your newfound knowledge!

My favourite city to visit so far… Barcelona. A city with a rich history and the most amazing architecture everywhere. Also, funky street art, great food and wine. And then there is the beautiful waterfront. The first time I visited Barcelona I was invited to a football match, and Messi was playing; it was a memorable experience!

The one item that I couldn’t fly without and why… I always have a tourist guide at hand or a basic language course for the country I visit.

The best thing about aviation is… When you fly during the daytime, there are the most extraordinary views of cities, landscapes, mountains, rivers and oceans. Flying above the clouds gives an immense sense of freedom and puts everything into perspective.

My favourite city to visit so far… Lucerne (Switzerland) is a new love for me. After visiting the city a few times, I decided it was perfect, as in many ways I can relate it to my husband’s hometown in India. It felt like a small city (probably because I’m used to London), but in a nice way. I also love how you don’t have to go too far to be surrounded by nature, mountain views and lakes.

The one item that I couldn’t fly without and why… Swiss chocolates, as I simply love them.

The best thing about aviation is… You feel connected and can enjoy your passion for flying. Moreover, you have the best views to enjoy. Not many people in the world can say they have a home in the clouds.

My favourite city to visit so far…. Barcelona – beautiful architecture and a fascinating city that is mesmerising and so cosmopolitan.

The one item that I couldn’t fly without… Notepad and pen to jot down any ideas, as it’s the only time to switch off and have some thinking time.

The best thing about aviation is… It’s such a varied sector with so many interesting developments and evolving technology in the marketplace.

My favourite city to visit so far… Vancouver – mountains, sea and the city – what more could you want? I simply can’t wait to go back!

The one item that I couldn’t fly without… My reusable water bottle. It’s so important to keep hydrated while flying.

The best thing about aviation is… It connects you with the rest of the world and gives you the opportunity to explore the globe!
