Air Astana wins regional APEX Award for its in-flight entertainment

The in-flight entertainment offered by the flag carrier of Kazakhstan, Air Astana, has been named the best in central and south Asia.

The airline, which previously won the APEX Award in 2022, the year it upgraded its service with content for passengers who are both hearing and visually impaired.

This year it has added podcasts to its offering alongside latest movie releases and documentaries in multiple languages and content for children.

Yelena Obukhova, vice president of in-flight service for Air Astana, said: “Air Astana has always been proud to be amongst the world’s leading airlines in providing a high level of inflight service.

“Whilst being responsible for passenger safety at all times, we also seek to ensure that every journey is relaxing and entertaining, with an excellent selection of the latest movies, TV series, documentaries, podcasts and music suited to different tastes.

“We constantly analyse market trends and carefully monitor passengers’ in-flight entertainment preferences and proud that our efforts are once again recognised with this APEX Award.”
