AIX 2025: Crystal Cabin winners in full

The annual Crystal Cabin Awards have been held in Hamburg. 

As is tradition, the Awards are presented on the first evening of the AIX trade show. This year’s event was held in the Grand Eleysée Hotel with an audience of around 300 guests.

“The finalists of the Crystal Cabin Award 2025 impressively demonstrate the high level of innovation within our industry – and the diverse ways we can enhance the passenger experience for everyone,” says Ralf Gust, President of the Crystal Cabin Awards Association. “With new categories like “Accessibility” and “Judges’ Choice: Airline Innovation”, we are setting deliberate impulses for a more inclusive, creative and sustainable future of flying. The winning concepts show that it’s no longer just about comfort – it’s about personal relevance, technological intelligence and social responsibility.”

Cabin Technologies –  Collins Aerospace “galley.ai”

Passenger Comfort –  Cathay Pacific, JPA Design and Reaktor “IFEC: In-Flight Entertainment & Control”

Judges’ Choice: Airline Innovation –  Cathay Pacific “Gallery In The Skies” 

IFEC and Digital Services –  Safran Cabin “Safran Connected Interiors” 

Sustainable Cabin –  Diehl Aviation “ECO Bin”

Accessibility –  Diehl Aviation “Space³”

University –  Tongji University in cooperation with Boeing “Ultra-lightweight Display System”
