An array of products have been introduced by American to make passenger’s time onboard a bit more comfortable
All premium cabin customers will get enhanced amenity kits, better bedding presented in reusable bags as well as pillows with a different texture on each side, with ‘most’ of the new linen being produced from recycled fibres. However, the exact details of the upgrades will depend on the cabin they are travelling in, the type of aircraft and the length of the flight.

“We thoughtfully curate each element of the onboard experience so every customer can look forward to the time they spend in flight,” said Kim Cisek, American’s Vice President of Customer Experience. “Part of the magic of travel is connecting our customers to the people and experiences that matter most to them. We’re taking that concept to the skies by introducing a new, dynamic onboard program that’s inspired by feedback from our customers and team members.”
The upgrades were introduced on May 27, as was a new menu across all classes as American seeks to attract passengers yet to book for the peak summer season.
