The plant-based curry has been developed by “Daigo,” a two Michelin star restaurant in the Michelin Guide Tokyo. Made from locally-sourced vegetables and fruits, the curry does not contain any animal ingredients or flour, making it an option for customers with dietary needs to enjoy.

Tomoji Ishii, Executive Vice President, Customer Experience Management and Planning of ANA said: “At ANA, we are continuously looking for ways to elevate the in-flight experience for our customers. This new meal option reflects not only our dedication to providing exceptional in-flight dining but also our unwavering commitment to catering to the unique preferences and dietary requirements of our valued customers,”

The menu addition is part of the airline’s efforts to create the “universalization of food” onboard, part of  it’s ‘Future Promise’ initiative.
