“BBC Studios has been a valued partner to Delta for many years, working with us to bring diverse and premium content to travellers of all ages,” says Ekrem Dimbiloglu, Managing Director, In-Flight Entertainment and Connectivity. “We’re proud to elevate the partnership in a new way by adding BBC News to our live TV lineup and strengthening our commitment to offering global content to our customers as they travel to destinations around the world.”
As part of its expansion in North America, the BBC recently re-launched its website and mobile app to make it easier for global audiences outside of the U.K. to discover and navigate the best of the BBC’s global journalism and storytelling. The BBC News channel, which has invested to deliver more hours of U.S. primetime programming with a refreshed line-up out of its Washington D.C. hub, has more than doubled its reach following the launch of the BBC News FAST channel, a 24-7 live feed available on a variety of leading CTV/FAST platforms including, Pluto TV, Samsung TV Plus, Xumo Play, VIZIO WatchFree+, Sling Freestream, and Plex. The BBC News channel is also available on all major cable providers and as a livestream on BBC.com.
